Remotely Monitor Your Outdoor Wood Boiler Temps

Case Study: When Do I Load More Wood?

Now that I can monitor the Outdoor Wood Boiler Supply temps remotely, I know exactly when it’s time to load up more wood. As shown below, the Central Boiler is clearly out of supply as the temperature has dropped below the set point of 185 degrees, down to 160.1 degrees fahrenheit. After loading, temps rose back up to 185 and then cycled throughout the night.

In addition to monitoring the boiler temps in the app, you can also set notifications where you get an email, text or app alert if a probe is triggered. For instance, you can set a max/min temp notification setting on each probe. In this circumstance, I have my boiler supply set to 190 as a max alert, and 160 as a min alert.
