In the beginning of the 2020 heating system, I received an alert on my iPhone that the Outdoor Boiler Supply triggered my 190 max alert. I went outside and the Central Boiler was not calling for heat, however the damper was stuck open. I bumped the door and the damper shut to stop the flow of air.
A couple of days later I received another alert. Same thing happened and it turned out the solenoid was bad.
Without having these alerts, there could have been a possibility that the Outdoor Boiler would have boiled over, possibly causing damage to the unit or indoor plumbing..
